The V Conference and Assembly of the Inter-American Network of Cadastre and Property Registry #ConfCat19 was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from October 8 to 10, 2019, hosted by the Federal Agency for Real Estate Valuations [OFEVI] and the Federal Council of Cadastre [CFC] of the Republic of Argentina, and the OAS with the support of the World Bank. The meeting was also supported by ESRI and Trimble Inc. as co-sponsors. The V Conference brought together participants from 20 countries, including the international experience of Spain. The first day of the agenda encompassed the: «Valuation: interoperability and territorial administrative considerations (national, state/provincial, municipal), from the perspective of cadastres and property registries». The V Inter-American Conference closed with the Network’s Annual Assembly, where the cadastre and registration authorities of the countries make decisions about the cadastre and registration work agenda of the region for 2020 and elected their authorities; electing: Peru through COFOPRI as the President country of the Network for 2020 together with its Executive Committee: Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Ecuador. Likewise, a workshop day was held on October 10, aimed to the Argentine national public, on the topic of valuation of this fifth conference in the framework of the efforts that emerge in the host country with the creation by decree of the 2018 of OFEVI.
