The Organization of American States (OAS) holds the dialogue session for Latin America of the World Bank’s Annual Conference on Land and Poverty. The Conference offers land administration leaders, authorities and professionals from around the world a unique opportunity each year to learn and exchange on key land administration issues.
In 2019, the theme of the conference is “Catalyzing Innovation,” through which the latest research and practices on reforms, interventions and innovation in the land sector around the world will be presented.
As hundreds of participants from around the world gather to learn and exchange, the OAS and the World Bank convene a special session within the framework of the Inter-American Network of Cadastre and Property Registry to discuss the role of national agencies of cadastre and property registration in Latin America in innovation processes to improve land governance in the region.
